U.S. core CPI annual rate hits a near 5-year low, spot gold surges over $20 in the short term

Odaily Planet Daily reports that the U.S. January seasonally adjusted core CPI year-over-year rate declined from 2.6% to 2.5%, hitting a new low since March 2021, in line with market expectations.
