What is the potential contagion from the $280M Drift exploit???

Based purely on sentiment alone at EthCC this week and DAS last week, I’m starting to get very bullish again.
Two completely different worlds colliding right now — realist & pragmatic entrepreneurs rising in the native crowd, while large capital allocators are looking for beaten up, fundamentally strong cryptoassets.
Very unique circumstances right now which will likely drive major flows to the right names.
Our job is to find them & have the courage to be a fundamentally strong investor during very pessimistic times.
Almost time to floor it.

EthCC in Cannes this year:
- absolute epic weather
- same bullishness on RWAs, stablecoins, tokenization
- firmly in the era of ‘the professional’ in the space
- nyc is definitely the place to be for the new era
- lot of "in this market?"
- way less hocus pocus
- not much new VC funding coming into small teams
- morning outdoor workouts
- the big clubs aren’t open in the nighttime yet
- canton, tempo, figure, hyperliquid
- eth is better than btc for quantum
- lot of the founders who didn’t raise a series a are in a very hard spot rn
- way better than denver

Mastercard representative just said on a panel at EthCC that cards aren’t great for agentic commerce because of the demand for micropayments & they are seriously considering the massive change in demand profile.
