if your brand only appealed to 1% of the earth’s population, that’s ~80M people. so why spread yourself so thin on trying to appeal to everyone? it’s easier to go all in on one niche and let them spread the word about you.
embrace the cringe. if you find something cringey but your audiences loves it, leave your ego out of it and do what’s best for your audience. we all have to be cringe to be successful at some point.
strategies on paper matter, they give direction. but you can over-strategize socials to the point nothing ships, nothing reacts, and you become boring. good marketing lives in the middle having: clear direction, fast execution, and real feedback.
social media is not a reach game, it’s a depth game. people think it’s about reaching the most amount of people possible. but it’s actually about reaching a niche audience, making your brand so significant and meaningful to that them that they tell everyone else about you.
