Yes, there are some 1 hit wonders.
Yes, some got lucky.
But in the long term, most will not make it.
Understand that.

Yes, there will be an edge case where someone does well for a period of time, but Vegas was not built on winners...
95% of day traders will unfortunately fail.
Short term stock moves are mostly unpredictable.
I simply use them as opportunity to capitalize on longer duration movements.
Patience wins with investing.
People that need instant gratification are often the ones that never scale to 7 figures & beyond.

🔴You can spend an entire lifetime "getting rich" but it only takes 1 bad investment to wipe you out...
Never put yourself in the situation where that can happen.
The market is hard to predict in the short term.
If you're in the game long enough, crazy things out of left field will happen.
Don't complicate it.
Don't over leverage.
Don't follow the herd.
Know what you own & why you own it.

So they carry that logic to the investing world.

This is why 95%+ of ppl underperform the SP500 in the long term... No surprise...
Instead, do this to beat the market in the long term:
- Build base portfolio.
- Sell portfolio secured puts (not cash secured)

🟢Sometimes, the best move to make in the stock market is to DO NOTHING.
Every headline doesn't need to be reacted to.
Every dip doesn't justify being bought.
Every pump doesn't justify to sell.
Sometimes you just need to sit and wait.
This is one of the hardest things for most retail investors to do.

So selling puts is a bullish strategy.
That's why I would never want to sell "cash secured puts", I sell "portfolios secured puts."
(cash sits there and does nothing, but portfolio secured works for you being invested)

So when I sell portfolio secured puts and collect say $20k for example, I take that cash flow and buy $20k in shares of the company I am bullish on. (same one I am selling puts on)
I usually sell 1 year cont

Continue to DCA into quality stocks/ETFs at good prices.
When you find compelling set ups:
1. Sell 1+ year portfolio secured puts. (not CSP)
2. Take part of that cash flow to buy shares.
3. Take part of the cash flow to buy LEAP calls.
Then be patient and let the plays work.
Simple.

I'll never criticize the new investor making $50/month selling options...
Unless they do covered calls or cash secured puts...
Then I will.
(those strategies are a trap)
Most new investors fall victim to this because it's viewed by the herd as "safe" and "low capital"
But in reality, it's a way to cap upside on a bullish company (covered call) & a way to sit on a bunch of cash when you are bullish on a company (cash secured put)
I haven't met a single person that made millions selling CCs or CSPs...
But I have personally made millions selling portfolio secured puts, not cash secured.

🟢How to fix your portfolio for 2026:
NO Day trading
NO Swing trading
NO Covered calls
NO Cash secured puts
NO BS
INSTEAD, I DO THIS:
- Build base portfolio.
- Sell portfolio secured puts (not cash secured)
- Buy LEAPS with the premium from sold puts
- BUY shares with the premium from sold puts
(all options durations are 1+ year long)
(much safer, easier, profitable, & reproducible)
Simple wins.

If you do options plays with a duration of under 6 months, you are gambling.
(why do you do this with your hard earned money...)
Nobody knows what a company is going to do in the short term.
Your fibonacci's don't know.
Your Bollinger Bands don't know.
Your VWAP doesn't know.
What I do know is this, if you buy a great company at a good price and give it a year or 2 for earnings to grow, the stock is going to rebound and follow the earnings higher.
This is why longer duration contracts win, cause you have the double bullish tailwind.

Stock options are simply a way to magnify an expected return.

Most people have zero clue what way a stock is likely to go.
