WeChat recently launched the Passkey login feature, and it’s been quite smooth to use.
After setting it up, the login experience is definitely much better — no need to remember passwords, biometric recognition is instant, this is what identity verification in the Web3 era should look like.
The operation is very simple: go to Settings → Account Security → Passkey → Create, and it’s done. Next time you log in, you can directly choose Passkey verification, saving trouble.
However, this feature is not fully available yet. Only accounts registered overseas can use it; domestic registered accounts are still unavailable. If you can’t try it, that’s probably the reason. It should become more widespread once fully rolled out.

Only overseas accounts can use it, and it's the same old story... When will the domestic market catch up?

It's only available with overseas accounts again, domestic ones have to wait, this routine is getting annoying.

Only overseas accounts can use it. It's the same old story. When will it be nationwide?
