Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist and close ally of Trump, was shot at Utah Valley University ( at the age of 31). This loss is no less than political as Kirk was one of the leading conservative voices linking American politics to the adoption of Bitcoin.
What was he saying?
He strongly advocated for the establishment of a strategic Bitcoin reserve for the United States, proposing the idea to be funded by tariff revenues. He said in a previous podcast: “Bitcoin is humanly scarce, and is more likely to reach a million from zero.”
He referred to Michael Saylor's opinion that Bitcoin could rise 10 times over the next decade, comparing its adoption to the spread of the English language and the US dollar - once a tipping point is reached, there is no turning back.
Note: Investigations are ongoing, and two individuals who were arrested and released have no connection to the case at this time.
