The U.S. Department of Homeland Security: More than 500 Ransomware attacks have been prevented since 2021

PANews reported on October 5th that the cybercrime division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security stated that since 2021, they have prevented more than 500 Ransomware attacks and seized billions of dollars in Cryptocurrency. The Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) is currently taking measures to prevent Hacker attacks before they occur. HSI prevented 150 Ransomware plots between October 2023 and September 30 this year, and a total of 537 intrusion incidents since the operation began in 2021. In addition, HSI has also seized Cryptocurrency worth $43 billion since 2021.
