Elon Musk recently explained again on a podcast interview his previous comments about “in the future, everyone won’t have to worry about money or work.”
He predicts that AI and robots will fully take over production and services in the foreseeable future, and almost all material needs of humans can be automatically provided by AI. Therefore, humans will have plenty of free time, and work will become an “option,” no longer a necessity for survival but driven by interest.
At the same time, Musk also emphasizes that people should not confuse “what he predicts” with “what he wants to achieve.” He said, “What I predict does not mean it’s what I want.”
