Techub News reports that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced the appointment of Jamie Selway as Director of Trading and Markets. Jamie Selway recently served as a partner at Sophron Advisors, providing Capital Market consulting services to clients. He has also been a board member of Protego Holdings, chairman of the board of AllofUs Financial and Skew, and an advisor to several fintech companies. Previously, he served as Managing Director and Head of Electronic Brokerage at global institutional broker Investment Technology Group. He co-founded the institutional brokerage firm White Cap Trading and served as its Managing Director and Chairman. In the early stages of his career, he was the Chief Economist at Archipelago, conducted equity derivation research at Goldman Sachs, and served as Deputy Director of Research at the National Association of Securities Dealers (which later became the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
