90% Sui validators voted in favor of the Cetus security incident recovery plan proposal.

Gate News bot message, the Sui community has voted to pass the proposal to support the recovery plan regarding the recent Cetus Hacker attack. The Sui Foundation stated that over 90% of the validators with voting rights support the recovery plan, thus the voting ended ahead of schedule in just four days.

The proposal approves the update of the agreement to allow funds controlled by hackers to be transferred into a multi-signature wallet. Trusted parties such as Cetus, the Sui Foundation, and OtterSec will be responsible for managing this wallet, with the aim of safeguarding the protected assets to deliver them to the affected users according to the recovery plan.
