Gate.io News bot message, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has released a statement clarifying that national banks and federal savings associations may engage in the buying and selling of encryption assets at the direction of customers, provided they meet third-party Risk Management requirements. Additionally, these Financial Institutions are permitted to outsource the custody of encryption assets and related services to third-party entities, with the services involved including trade execution, record keeping, valuation, and tax services.
