The Hong Kong government collaborates with Phoenix Television to launch a Web3 financial series.

According to Techub News and Hong Kong Wen Wei Po, Phoenix TV Hong Kong announced at the one-year anniversary celebration of its broadcast on free TV channel 85 that it has signed the “Hong Kong Financial New Dimension Cooperation Framework” with the Hong Kong Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau. According to the cooperation plan, the first phase will focus on Web3 technology and industry development. The two parties will jointly produce financial special programs to explore Web3 technology trends, policy support, and Risk Management, incorporating case studies and expert interpretations, to present to the audience the practices of Hong Kong in virtual asset regulation and financial technology innovation.

The Chief Executive of the Special Administrative Region, John Lee, stated during his speech at the event that the cooperation between both parties will provide the audience with more practical information regarding the development of Web3 and virtual assets. By leveraging Hong Kong’s rich experience in financial services, this initiative aims to help more investors understand the latest developments in the digital economy and to showcase the vitality and opportunities of Hong Kong’s financial industry to the international community.
