Donald Trump has stated that tariffs on pharmacies will soon be implemented. Below is a list of all the tariff rates that Trump has proposed and confirmed:
- Canada:
- 25% tariff on most goods, including steel and aluminum products.
- A 10% tariff on oil and gas ( is postponed until April 2, 2025 ).
- Mexico:
- China:
- A 20% tariff on all items ( increased from 10% on March 4, 2025).
- European Union:
- Tariffs have been planned for EU goods, with Trump threatening to impose a 200% tariff on EU wine.
- All countries (Global):
- A 25% tariff on steel and aluminum products, effective from March 12, 2025.
- A 25% tariff on all types of vehicles produced outside the United States, effective from April 2, 2025.
- Nga:
- A tax rate of 200% on imported goods made from derivative aluminum or goods made from pure aluminum that are melted or cast in Russia.
- Other countries:
- Reciprocal tariffs are scheduled to be implemented starting April 2, 2025, targeting 15% of the countries that account for most of the United States’ foreign trade.
- Potential targets include India, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, and Malaysia, based on trade surpluses with the United States or differences in average tariff levels.
- Venezuela: Trump has announced a plan to impose a “secondary tariff” of 25% on any country that purchases oil or gas from Venezuela when trading with the United States, effective from April 2, 2025.
- Digital service tax (DST): Investigations have been conducted against France, Austria, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
- Copper, Wood, and Lumber: An investigation has been conducted under Section 232 regarding potential tariff levels.
