Layer 1 network Story Protocol announces tokenomics before Mainnet launch
Wu learned that the Layer 1 network Story Protocol will announce the tokenomics before the Mainnet launch. Out of the initial supply of 1 billion IP Tokens, 58.4% will be allocated to the community through initial incentives, ecosystem, and foundation, with 38.4% for the ecosystem and community, 10% for initial rewards, and 10% for the foundation. Additionally, 21.6% will be given to early supporters, and 20% to core contributors. The initial unlocked supply of IP is 25%. Story Protocol developer PIP Labs completed an $80 million Series B funding led by a16z crypto in August 2024.
