Ether Workshop Operating System ethOS launches mobile device dGEN1

The developer of EtherOS, the operating system for Ether mining, is preparing to launch a new mobile device product!

According to the Japanese crypto world media 'CoinPost', Freedom Factory announced in a press release on October 17th that it will launch the mobile device dGEN1 with ethOS v4.0 operating system, which is expected to dump in spring 2025.

Freedom Factory CEO Markus Haas said that Cryptocurrency is no longer limited to desktop and browser applications. By integrating the Ethereum ecosystem through the use of an operating system, dGEN1 will eliminate the complexity of Blockchain interaction, providing a secure and unrestricted user experience.

dGEN1 also integrates Block browser and Wallet functions, and is equipped with a dedicated screen to display transaction-related notifications and metadata during the interaction process.

In addition, users can also use the innovative Decentralization application (dApp) store that supports Ethereum and Layer 2 solution (Layer 2) applications.

dGEN1 open for pre-order, buyers will get Airdrop

Freedom Factory stated that users can mint Non-fungible Tokens on Layer2 Blockchain Base to pre-order dGEN1, priced at 0.21 $ETH (approximately 16,590 NTD) or 67,000 $DEGEN. Credit card payment is also available, and it promises that buyers will receive Airdrop rewards when dGEN1 arrives.

Block browser Basescan shows that there are currently over 1,000 wallets holding the Non-fungible Token.

It is worth noting that before the launch of dGEN1, ethOS also released the Google Pixel 7a smartphone preloaded with the Ethereum operating system.
