A Surprising Move from Nvidia Exceeding 2.6 Trillion Dollars! The Expected Partnership with the Surprise Altcoin has been Unilaterally Suspended!
Despite ongoing efforts by companies in the Crypto sector to collaborate with the AI sector, the world's number one artificial intelligence chip manufacturer Nvidia continues to distance itself from crypto-related projects.
According to Coindesk, Nvidia unilaterally suspended its collaboration with Arbitrum (ARB). It was expected that Arbitrum would announce a partnership with Nvidia as a special Ethereum partner for Nvidia's Ignition AI Accelerator program.
However, Arbitrum stated that it planned to be a partner of Ethereum in Nvidia's Ignition AI Accelerator program but was stopped at the last moment by Nvidia.
The last-minute halt of the anticipated partnership with Arbitrum clearly demonstrates Nvidia's stance against the inclusion of blockchain projects in its programs, despite collaboration expectations from the sector. This is because Nvidia recently explicitly excluded cryptocurrency-related projects from its Inception program.
The Arbitrum spokesperson told Coindesk, "We received breaking news regarding a request to pause the announcement from Nvidia, but they did not provide any details on the reason for this."
Nvidia's approach is not new. Since the ICO boom, which the company referred to as "crypto intoxication," Nvidia has maintained a cautious stance towards cryptocurrencies since 2018.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang clearly stated in his remarks that cryptocurrencies do not contribute anything beneficial to society, while Nvidia CTO Michael Kagan criticized the crypto sector by saying, "Crypto does not bring anything useful for society. I have never believed that crypto would do anything good for humanity."
