Do people believe that artificial intelligence agents can trade and invest better?

About half of the people believe that, most of the time, artificial intelligence agents perform better than humans in encryption trading and investment. That said, the other half of the survey participants think that artificial intelligence has not yet surpassed humans in the encryption market, indicating that there is still disagreement regarding this comparison.

For short-term encryption trading, 26.7% of survey participants expect that AI agents will generally perform better than humans, while 22.0% of survey participants expect AI to win forever. Meanwhile, for long-term cryptocurrency investment, 23.6% of people said that AI agents generally do better than humans, while 23.0% of people believe this will always be the case.

Overall, 48.7% of people believe that artificial intelligence is more profitable than humans in cryptocurrency trading, slightly outnumbering the 46.6% of people in favor of using artificial intelligence for cryptocurrency investment.

However, the most common personal view is that AI agents sometimes outperform humans in the cryptocurrency market: 29.3% of people expect AI agents to be better than humans at cryptocurrency trading only some of the time, and 28.3% of people feel the same about investments.

Despite the growing popularity of encryption artificial intelligence, at least one-fifth of survey participants hold an opposing view, believing that artificial intelligence will largely lose to humans in encryption trading and investment. In terms of cryptocurrency trading, 13.0% of people believe that AI agents will rarely outperform humans, while 9.0% believe that this will never happen. In terms of encryption investment, 15.3% of people expect that AI agents will rarely do better than humans, and 9.8% expect that AI will never surpass humans.

How much do people trust artificial intelligence agents for trading and investing?

A similar survey found that participants had very complex views on whether they could trust artificial intelligence agents to access and manage people's encryption wallets. Specifically, 37.5% of respondents indicated that they did not trust artificial intelligence agents to manage their encryption wallets, while slightly lower at 34.5% indicated that they could trust them, and 27.9% held a neutral stance on the matter.

Meanwhile, 87.1% of respondents expressed willingness to let AI agents manage at least one-tenth of their encryption cryptocurrency portfolios. This suggests that despite skepticism regarding the safety of AI agents, crypto users remain primarily curious about this technology and wish to try using it for trading or investing.

Among them, 35.9% of people expressed willingness to let artificial intelligence agents manage the majority of their encryption cryptocurrency portfolios (i.e., 60% or more). Among them, 14.5% of the minority are willing to entrust their entire encryption cryptocurrency portfolio to artificial intelligence agents for management. In other words, one in seven participants either believe they can fully trust artificial intelligence agents with all their encryption cryptocurrencies, believe that potential profits will outweigh the risks, or simply have a high risk tolerance for their encryption cryptocurrency holdings.

Additionally, 51.3% of people are only willing to let AI agents manage half or less of their cryptocurrency portfolios. Interestingly, overall, the second most popular amount is to let AI agents manage half of the portfolio, with 13.6% of participants choosing this option.

On the other hand, 12.9% of people indicated that they would not hand over their encryption cryptocurrency portfolio to an AI agent for management. This means that 1 in every 8 participants completely distrusts AI agents managing their cryptocurrency or believes they can manage their cryptocurrency portfolio better than AI agents.

Views on Trading and Investment Artificial Intelligence Agents

According to a survey of cryptocurrency participants, the frequency at which artificial intelligence agents are expected to outperform humans in short-term cryptocurrency trading and long-term cryptocurrency investment is as follows:

In the same survey, participants were asked to what extent they agree or disagree that artificial intelligence agents can be trusted to access and manage people's encryption wallets, and their opinions were distributed as follows:
