WLFI Airdrop USD1, BitGo launches Lock-up Position staking service, is this paving the way for WLFI to enter the institutional market?
The Trump cryptocurrency project World Liberty Financial (WLFI) recently announced on its governance forum that it will airdrop a small amount of USD1 to $WLFI holders to test its on-chain airdrop technology. At the same time, its stablecoin custodian BitGo has launched Lock-up Position staking services. This move has sparked heated discussions in the community: is this operation a preliminary battle for WLFI to seize the mainstream market?
Technical testing and feedback supporters: WLFI plans to airdrop USD1
WLFI proposed a plan this morning on the official governance forum to airdrop a small amount of stablecoin USD1 to all $WLFI holders, in order to verify its airdrop technology and on-chain system stability, and to express gratitude to early supporters.
We just posted a new governance proposal:
To test our Airdrop functionality by distributing USD1 to all $WLFI holders — rewarding our earliest supporters and preparing for future growth.

This will be the first real-world test of the airdrop feature for WLFI, laying the groundwork for larger operations of USD1 in the future.
According to reports, each wallet will receive a fixed amount of USD1, and the exact amount will be confirmed later based on the total number of eligible wallets and the budget. Currently, the voting deadline and airdrop time have not been announced.

BitGo has launched a token staking program, with WLFI and USD1 becoming hot topics of discussion.
On the same day, BitGo also tweeted to announce the launch of the "seamless lock-up position staking" service, allowing users to stake tokens under regulated custody and earn rewards to ensure asset security. This new service focuses on "secure staking, optimized capital management, and integrated custody solutions," providing project parties with token management solutions from testnet to mainnet launch.
It is not difficult to see that this feature is particularly suitable for projects that have not yet released the circulation of tokens — namely WLFI and USD1.
The encryption community quickly linked BitGo's new service with WLFI, with several users in the comments expressing their anticipation of being able to stake WLFI and USD1 at that time, reflecting the community's expectations for the potential impact of the collaboration between WLFI and BitGo.
Stable Returns and Scarce Assets: What Can WLFI Do?
Crypto analyst @CryptoNotaz believes that WLFI may be preparing for a bigger move: "WLFI currently has 100 billion tokens fully locked, of which 25 billion have been sold in the presale, but the circulating supply is still zero and it has not yet been listed on exchanges."
Combining the Lock-up Position staking feature launched by BitGo, he proposed several possible scenarios:
Holders are able to start earning staking rewards without unlocking supplies
The circulating supply remains at zero, which may cause extreme scarcity.
The opening market price may therefore soar.
Institutional capital may flow in significantly before the token is listed.
The community is buzzing with discussions and even expressing expectations for the future WLFI dividend system: "Could this be a surprise?"
WLFI may gradually allocate platform profits to holders, possibly $500 per month depending on the amount of WLFI held (. This will encourage people to hold more tokens in a situation where obtaining tokens is not easy, creating a supply and demand imbalance that drives prices up.
Is Lock-up Position staking paving the way for institutional-level investment?
According to the BitGo official website, the lock-up position staking is based on the PoS proof mechanism, while WLFI's USD1 claims to combine the trust guarantees and security advantages of DeFi and traditional finance:
If successfully combined, lock-up staking will attract institutional investors. Coupled with the technologically innovative stablecoin design of WLFI, it will undoubtedly attract institutional funds into the market in a stable return manner.
WLFI's recent airdrop testing and deep collaboration with BitGo demonstrate its focus on both market and technology strategies. Despite the enthusiastic market response, crypto market volatility and regulation remain key variables.
