Dozens of cities in the United States have launched large-scale Hands Off protests against Trump.

On Saturday, a large crowd angry at President Trump's governance of the country held demonstrations in dozens of major cities across the United States. This is the largest collective protest against Trump to date, known as the "Hands Off (" event, with over 150 groups organizing protests at more than 1,200 locations across all fifty states. Participants included civil rights organizations, labor unions, LGBTQ groups, gay supporters, veterans, and politically active individuals.

When asked about the Hands Off protests, the White House issued a statement indicating that President Trump’s position is very clear: he has always prioritized protecting the Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid of eligible beneficiaries. The Democrats’ position, on the other hand, is to grant Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid benefits to "illegal immigrants," which would overwhelm American seniors.

Hundreds of protesters held a demonstration in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, just a few miles from Trump's golf course, where he participated in the club's senior club championship that morning. The protesters stood on both sides of PGA Drive (PGA Drive), beating drums and chanting slogans against Trump. Wu, a Democrat, has parents from Taiwan and was influenced to enter politics by Democratic U.S. Senator and university mentor Elizabeth Ann Warren, having previously been a member of Warren's campaign team. Wu is the first non-white female mayor of Boston and the first Asian mayor on the East Coast of the United States.

The protest in downtown Los Angeles was conducted in a street theater style, featuring an Uncle Sam holding a "Freedom" sign, a woman dressed as a skeleton wearing a skirt with Trump’s image, and a speaker claiming to be a billionaire like Trump. The speakers were mostly grassroots individuals and leaders of grassroots organizations.

California Young Democrats Labor Caucus Chair Alan Vargas stated that the caucus advocates for the establishment of more unions to hold greedy bosses and the wealthy accountable. He noted that we are currently experiencing the largest transfer of wealth, with more top-tier individuals holding wealth while the grassroots gain nothing.
