I attribute a lot of my predictive success, whether in life or trading, to a few different key factors: 1)Patience - Most people rush to have a knee jerk reaction to things before all the info is laid out in front of them. They make bad judgments this way bc they do not give themselves time to collect ample information. 2)No Emotion - I approach any analysis with no emotion. I take emotion out of it, even if I have them, and make a call once objective truth shows its hand. I do not take “feelings” into account. 3)Intuition(God Given) - My intuition is killer. I always trust my gut. I get it from my Mother. Things like when I started smoking cigs heavy in college she called me and asked if I was bc she had a dream. I also pray everyday for wisdom and eyes to see. 4)Hardcore analysis - I review what has worked and what hasn’t ruthlessly. I do not try to pad stats or make myself look good. I look at true results. 5)Curiosity/Hunger for the Truth - I want to know the truth, deeply. I do not care if the truth offends ppl or hurts their feelings. I continue to learn and review information every single day in all aspects of life because the truth is what I chase. 6)Unbiased opinion/Open mindedness - I have 0 problem changing my mind or being criticized, if new information presents itself. Most choose a shape and want to stay that shape, but as previously stated, I want to know the truth and that is my top priority. If you are constantly sitting in an echo chamber looking for confirmation bias you are not able to see things clearly and make the best judgements.
