Offchain Labs co-founder Ed Felten discusses L2 development and Arbitrum governance.

According to the Gate.io News bot, Offchain Labs co-founder Ed Felten shared his views on the development of the L2 ecosystem and Arbitrum governance, as reported by PANEWS.

Ed Felten pointed out that the L2 team is focusing on solving the fragmentation of liquidity and user experience. He described the vision for future inter-chain experiences: users' funds on one chain will be directly used for operations on other chains without complex cross-chain steps.

Regarding the development direction of Ethereum, Ed Felten mentioned that Ethereum needs to choose between maximizing validator income and increasing the number of users and developers. Currently, Ethereum's strategy focuses on the latter, which aligns with the advantages of L2.

Ed Felten emphasized that Arbitrum DAO has actual decision-making power and operates in a decentralized manner, which is a significant distinction from other DAOs.
