US Shadow Government DOGE: Sanders recognizes Musk's budget cut for the Pentagon as politically correct

Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont fiercely criticized the Pentagon's budget and failed audit on X, and agrees with Musk and seems to support the newly established Department of Government Efficiency DOGE. Bernie Sanders is the longest-serving independent senator in U.S. history and participated in the Democratic Party's U.S. presidential primaries in 2016 and 2020.

Sanders wrote in an article on Sunday about the Pentagon wasting the national budget. He agrees with Musk, saying that the Pentagon, with a budget of $88.6 billion, has failed seven consecutive audits, losing track of billions of dollars. Last year, only 13 senators voted against the military-industrial complex and the wasteful and fraudulent defense budget. This needs to change.

He shared a post about the California GT plan for DOGE on X, which was projected to cost $33 billion in 2008 and is now projected to cost up to $127.9 billion. The post also states that the expected completion date is 2020, but as of 2024, it has not yet started operating and most of the railway engineering has not been designed. The plan received $6.8 billion in federal funding and the team is currently applying for an additional $8 billion in federal funding.

Defense budget overspending will lead to bankruptcy in the United States

Musk warns that national debt on X has surged to over $36 trillion, and the United States is rapidly going bankrupt.

In the post shared by Musk, he said, 'The Interest we owe on national debt is now higher than the defense budget, exceeding one trillion dollars, and it is still increasing, the United States is about to go bankrupt. That's why we need to mark D.O.G.E. (Department of Government Efficiency) on the brass plaque on the table.'

Musk also said that most people do not even know that there is such a thing as national debt. Those who know often do not know how much national debt there is, and they do not know that the interest we are paying now exceeds our military expenditure. Only a small percentage of people know that government overspending will lead to inflation.
