The Book of Changes (I Ching) says: "Yi has Tai Chi, which gives rise to the Two Forms; the Two Forms generate the Four Symbols; the Four Symbols produce the Eight Trigrams; and the Eight Trigrams combine to form the 64 Hexagrams."

The general idea is that initially, the world was a state of chaos, then Yin and Yang appeared. Afterwards, Yin and Yang further divided within themselves, and this cycle repeated several times, leading to the Eight Trigrams and the 64 Hexagrams.

Therefore, the world is fundamentally based on Yin and Yang. Stocks either go up or down! So, Yin and Yang are the foundation.

👉 The Eight Trigrams refer to the eight basic states of things. They apply to all people, affairs, and objects in this world:

Qian, representing Heaven and the Father, also signifies strength;
Kun, representing Earth and the Mother, also signifies compliance;
Zhen, the shaking of the earth and mountains, also signifies movement;
Xun, like the wind, penetrating everywhere;
Kan, representing Water and dangerous situations, also signifies陷;
Li, beautiful things, also refers to Fire, also signifies beauty;
Gen, a great mountain, also signifies stopping;
Dui, an image of a marsh girl, also signifies joy.

Throughout our lives, we are in different hexagram positions at different stages. We need to use the wisdom of the I Ching to first lift our heads and observe the ups and downs of our entire life. When you see the big picture, it’s like standing atop a mountain, overlooking your small world of life. Your mind will suddenly become open and clear, and you will no longer care about short-term gains and losses.

Different hexagram positions require different strategies. For example, when a stock has risen so high that it’s flying in the sky like a dragon, being too rigid can lead to breaking. If you rush in at this point, you will definitely face the cold wind at the peak. This is the application of the wisdom of the I Ching in the financial market. We will continue to explain in detail later and savor it carefully.

Pour a cup of tea, listen to music, and nourish your Qi and spirit. No matter how the external environment changes, you can turn misfortune into fortune.
