Goldman Sachs acquires the #Bitcoin structured fund valued at 3.4 trillion Dollar in its latest deal.
Goldman Sachs is set to acquire Innovator Capital Management, a company that issues outcome-specific exchange-traded funds, for approximately two billion Dollars.
This may not seem significant, but it is a huge step for the investment bank that previously advised its clients to stay away from digital assets.
Goldman Sachs has shown increasing optimism towards cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, having participated in 18 investments in blockchain companies between 2020 and 2024.
📊 In the last quarter of 2024, filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission showed that Goldman purchased nearly 1.28 billion Dollars of #iSharesBitcoinTrust and 288 million Dollars from the #WiseOriginBitcoin fund managed by Fidelity. The company also acquired 476 million Dollars worth of #Ethereum products.
