BitMine Accelerates Ethereum Accumulation with 96,798 ETH Purchase Ahead of Network Upgrade ⛏️
BitMine ($BMNR) has announced the acquisition of an additional 96,798 Ethereum ($ETH), purchased at an average price of $3,008 per token. This brings the company's total holdings to 3,726,499 $ETH.
The purchase is part of a sustained weekly accumulation strategy, even as other corporate treasuries paused activity during recent market conditions. BitMine's Chairman, Thomas Lee, cited the upcoming Ethereum ($ETH) Fusaka upgrade on December 3rd and anticipated Federal Reserve policy shifts as positive tailwinds for the asset.
BitMine ($BMNR) now holds the world's largest corporate treasury of Ethereum ($ETH) and ranks as the second-largest crypto treasury overall, behind only MicroStrategy ($MSTR).
