Park Zanda, the representative of the largest opposition party, the Democratic Party of Korea, said at a policy adjustment meeting held in the National Assembly that the content added to the bill this time includes the suspension of President Yin Seok-yue to rationalize his declaration of martial law, and the plan to induce the North Korean military to launch a military attack on South Korea. In addition, the bill will also modify the recommendation method for independent prosecutor candidates to a third-party recommendation. South Korean media also reported that the opposition party plans to transfer the recommendation authority for independent prosecutor candidates to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
