French Prime Minister: France will not accept EU-Southern Common Market Free Trade Agreement

On November 13th, local time, French Prime Minister Barnier stated in Brussels, Belgium that France will not accept the EU-Southern Common Market Free Trade Agreement. Barnier made this statement after meeting with EU officials. European Parliament member and former Belgian Prime Minister Di Rupo expressed serious concerns from the European agricultural community about the current form of the protocol on social media. It is reported that the European Commission is pushing for the protocol to be reached at the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Brazil.
