Odaily Planet Daily News on-chain detective ZachXBT released an investigation into Faris Ali (Zay/Tommy) from the UK, as well as his alleged burglary of a certain X user in June 2024 due to an encryption data leak, involving a sum of 4.3 million US dollars. On June 18th, a victim posted on X, stating that earlier in the day, he was robbed and forced to transfer $4.3 million to two Addresses. At the time of writing this article, most of the funds are still dormant. Shortly after being marked by the victim, the investigation began and obtained the chat records of two criminals a few hours before the robbery occurred. Faris/Tommy and an accomplice discussed how they planned to pretend to deliver a package to the victim’s home, and shared a photo of their door. Then they sent a picture of the victim’s building and a picture confirming that they were dressed as three delivery drivers outside the victim’s door. A few weeks ago, Faris/Tommy had a criminal record and he showed his bail photo to his friends on Telegram, revealing his identity in the process. After the robbery, someone registered an ENS domain name farisali.eth and sent a message on-chain.
