Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Holds Talks with Iran's Acting Foreign Minister to Discuss the Palestinian-Israeli Situation

During his visit, he conveyed a message from King Abdullah II of Jordan to Iranian President Mahmoud Pazeshkiyan, involving regional situation and bilateral relations. Safadi also held talks with Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Baqeri. Safadi stated that the purpose of visiting Iran is to negotiate on the serious escalation of the regional issues, engage in frank and transparent dialogue to overcome differences between the two countries, protect the interests of both countries, and jointly promote regional security and peace on the basis of mutual respect and non-interference in internal affairs.
