Sources: ConocoPhillips will start layoffs in Canada next month.

Jin10 data October 24 news, according to sources and an internal memorandum, American oil giant ConocoPhillips (COP.N) will begin layoffs in its Canadian operations starting next month as part of a plan announced last month to cut global jobs by 25%. The memorandum did not specify the number of layoffs but indicated that the cuts would start in the first week of November from the Canadian operations. According to ConocoPhillips' website, as of the end of 2024, the company employs 950 people in Canada, with a production of 164,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in Canada in 2024.
