Insiders: Unity Android vulnerability will lead to players' encryption wallets being stolen, the official is quietly rolling out a fix.
According to Mars Finance, two anonymous sources revealed that the Unity game engine is quietly rolling out a patch for a vulnerability that allows third-party code to run in Android-based mobile games, potentially targeting mobile wallets. The sources stated that the vulnerability affects projects dating back to 2017 and added that it primarily impacts Android, but Windows, macOS, and Linux systems are also affected to varying degrees. Unity has begun privately distributing the patch and standalone repair tools to selected partners, but public guidance is not expected until next Monday or Tuesday.
