Golden Finance reported that Nick Timiraos, the ‘megaphone’ of the Federal Reserve, said that economists who provide detailed inflation forecasts expect CPI in August to be relatively mild compared to July. The median forecast shows that the core CPI will pump 0.21% on a month-on-month basis, which will keep the inflation rate at 3.2% for 12 months. Overall CPI is expected to slow to 2.5%.
