My account got liquidated in a margin liquidation, and I was devastated.

Seeing that my balance was only enough for one meal, I just threw in the towel and decided to give up completely: forget it—since everything is already like this, I might as well treat myself one last time.
I wandered into a night market stall hidden deep in a narrow alley, and the air was filled with a thick, smoky aroma of charcoal fire.
I ordered a charcoal-grilled lamb chop fresh off the grill, served with the vendor’s homemade hot-and-sour dipping sauce; the lamb was crisp outside and tender inside, and the sauce was sour, spicy, and with a hint of sweetness—one bite and it filled my mouth with fragrance.
At that time, I was completely absorbed in eating—the meat juices dripped down the corners of my mouth; I was breathing hard from the spiciness, but I felt so great I couldn’t stop.
The pain of liquidation and the regret of losing money were all temporarily numbed by this steaming hot lamb chop. After I finished, I was completely satisfied, took a taxi home, and fell asleep right away. When I woke up, it was already daylight.
I quickly pulled out my phone—yet my balance hadn’t changed at all, not even a single cent, and my position had never been opened at all.
The aroma from that charcoal-grilled lamb chop and the flavor of the hot-and-sour sauce were still vividly lingering on my tongue, as if I had just swallowed them.
Turns out… it was all just a dream.
