Coinbase Base Marketing Director Sarah Wolf announces departure to join Anthropic to lead startup marketing
Deep Tide TechFlow News, April 18th, according to a post by Sarah Wolf on the X platform, her nearly five-year tenure at Coinbase is coming to an end. She joined in 2023 as the first Builder Marketer, co-founded and helped grow Base into a leading global blockchain ecosystem with a builder community spanning over 52 countries worldwide. During her tenure, she led several landmark projects, including Onchain Summer in collaboration with Adidas and Coca-Cola, integrating USDC payments into Shopify, and creating the Builder Summit BaseCamp.
After leaving Coinbase, Sarah Wolf will join Anthropic as the head of marketing for startups, focusing on supporting the startup ecosystem built around Claude. She stated that she welcomes founders and builders using Claude for development to get in touch.
