Techub News reports that the Web3 travel ecosystem Staynex has announced challenging the traditional online travel agency (OTA) model through tokenized membership. Its partner network now covers over 2.65 million hotels worldwide. The platform adopts a “direct sales price” policy and does not charge commissions to listings, ensuring hotels receive 100% of booking revenue, while supporting payments via credit cards and over a hundred cryptocurrencies. The native token STAY serves as the core, featuring a deflationary mechanism based on revenue buybacks, and allowing holders to participate in governance through Ocean Club and unlock exclusive benefits.

In addition, Staynex has integrated an AI assistant called “AI Travel Wingman,” endorsed by football legend Patrice Evra, which uses artificial intelligence to provide users with customized itinerary planning and demand forecasting. By transforming bookings, activities, and travel experiences into tokenized passes, the platform addresses the issues of traditional points programs expiring easily and having unclear value, offering travelers loyalty rewards with real market value. Staynex is committed to leveraging blockchain transparency to reshape the tourism economy, aligning interests among the platform, hotels, and consumers.
