Billiard halls want female assistants, foot massage parlors want female technicians, KTVs want princesses, nightclubs want female models, and “borderline” videos are rampant—so much so that even restaurants need beautiful women dancing before people are willing to go eat. All kinds of platforms compete to lure and retain customers, while continuously “beautifying” things. Every profession deserves respect. But every time I see friends around me get into these industries, it leaves a bitter taste in my heart.
