Brazilian president criticizes the United States for launching a "hypocritical" war

On April 1st local time, Brazilian President Lula criticized the United States for launching a “hypocritical” and “unnecessary” war against Iran, warning that the energy market fluctuations caused by the conflict will impact the Brazilian economy. Previously, Lula also publicly criticized the U.S. military strikes against Iran, emphasizing that countries must learn to respect each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and calling for the prompt use of relevant mechanisms through the United Nations Security Council to curb international conflicts.
