First of all, happy 30th anniversary to Gate!🎆🎆🎆

My name is Musheng Linsen. I started using the Gate exchange in 2021. I remember that my first deposit was over 2,000 RMB. At that time, I was brought in by a friend who said I could get free airdrops, but I didn’t really understand what an airdrop was. I only knew I could sell it for money. I thought, don’t leave free money on the table, so I entered the crypto world and began my relationship with Gate. At that time, I knew nothing about the crypto space—no idea about liquidation, leverage, take profit, stop loss, or anything. I only knew to go all-in each time. Of course, I learned about full position later. Back then, I had no idea about these concepts when I entered the crypto world; I just knew it could earn more. During that period, I met a good friend in the square. He would tell me how to trade, and I followed his signals each time, always using 100x leverage with full position. That friend probably thought I was very brave to open such positions. Looking back now, I was really a rookie, fearless and reckless. Clueless, I used over 2,000 RMB of capital to make over 30,000 RMB. Haha, I had just joined Gate not long ago and already made so much money. Maybe that was the beginner’s protection period. I remember spending over 10,000 RMB to buy a spot token called ACH, earning a few hundred yuan and then selling it. But within a few days, it kept rising, and in just a few days, it increased 100 times. I was really kicking myself then—if only I had held on. After all these years, I still feel a bit regretful about it, haha. But time only moves forward; we can’t go back.

Now I am more able to hold onto spot holdings than before, probably because of the years of experience in the crypto space. I definitely wouldn’t go all-in on futures anymore. I’ve also learned some professional terms and knowledge. These years, I’ve made rapid progress, but watching the market all the time is exhausting. Sometimes, watching the price swings makes me nervous. But overall, I’m much better than before and more skilled at managing my positions. I can stay calm now, transforming from a rookie to an experienced trader.

The Gate Square feature is my favorite. You can chat, watch live streams, discuss updates, and read all kinds of news and information related to crypto. It’s really interesting and fun. I love participating in Gate Square activities because they are very reasonable and exciting, giving everyone a chance to win rewards. Gate Square has become part of my daily routine—posting articles, checking news and updates, chatting and discussing market trends with fellow old and new traders. It’s now my most important platform for getting information and learning.
