JUST IN: Authorities led by the U.S. Secret Service intensify global offensive against phishing scams.


Operation Atlantic disrupted more than $45 million in fraud. More than 20,000 wallets linked to victims in 30 countries were identified. Scams are evolving into physical attacks using counterfeit letters.
During the operation, investigators identified more than 20,000 wallet addresses linked to victims in over 30 countries.
This finding demonstrates the international scale of these types of crimes, which transcend borders and jurisdictions.
