Pre-IPOs are gold mines, but don’t rush in blindly

Everyone is shouting to rush in, I’ll pour a bit of rational cold water. Gate’s digital Pre-IPOs are indeed good, but we need to see both sides:

Advantages are not many to elaborate – low threshold, good liquidity, global assets.

Risks also need to be understood:

· Unicorns may fail to go public or be undervalued;
· Digital shares do not represent real equity; the underlying mechanism must be clear;
· Pre-trading may have discount or premium fluctuations.

The unicorn I look forward to most is Discord – high user stickiness, great potential for Web3 transformation.

Regarding “whether to include in the portfolio,” my answer is: yes, but only 5-10% of the portfolio, and only use a portion of profits to participate. Treat it as a high-risk “early-stage venture capital” rather than a stable investment; this mindset will be better.

Gate has pioneered a new model of token-stock linkage, worth praising, but we also need to be smart investors.
