Oman states that it has signed an agreement to not charge ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz

Mars Finance News, on April 8, local time on the 8th, Oman’s Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, Mavaly, said at the consultative meeting that Oman has signed an agreement related to international maritime transport. Under the terms of the agreement, the Strait of Hormuz is a natural passageway, and no fees may be charged to ships passing through. He also pointed out that, at present, Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is communicating and coordinating with all parties on the relevant issues. (CCTV News)
