Mars Finance reports that on April 8th, local time, Oman's Minister of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, Mawali, stated at a consultation meeting that Oman has signed an agreement related to international maritime shipping. According to the agreement, the Strait of Hormuz is a natural passage and no fees can be charged to passing ships. He also pointed out that the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently communicating and negotiating with all parties on related issues. (CCTV News)
