British media: Iran’s Supreme Leader Mujtaba is in a coma due to injuries and is unable to participate in any decision-making
Golden Finance reports. On April 7, citing a diplomatic memo obtained by the British newspaper The Times, Iran’s current Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei—reportedly has lost the ability to carry out actions—is currently receiving medical treatment in the holy city of Qom. The report says that Mujtaba is seriously injured and in a coma, and is undergoing treatment due to his “severe” health condition, unable to participate in any decisions of the ruling system. This memo, first obtained by The Times, discloses the location of this Supreme Leader. The central city of Qom, located 87 miles south of Tehran, is considered a holy site in Shia Islam. Although U.S. and Israeli intelligence agencies previously claimed they had tracked his movements, with the deadline of the ultimatum set by Trump now nearing, if Iran’s senior leadership were in a power vacuum, it would undoubtedly add enormous uncertainty to the current turmoil in the Persian Gulf.
