Mars Finance news. On April 6, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Ismail Bagayi condemned what he described as the United States’ threats against Iran’s infrastructure as “war crimes,” and warned that any country that assists Washington will bear legal responsibility. He said, “There is no doubt that merely issuing such threats themselves constitutes war crimes,” and pointed out that the United States, on the one hand, talks about striking “energy and industrial infrastructure,” while, on the other hand, it is “giving a green light” to Israel to attack civilian targets. He emphasized that these actions, under international humanitarian law and the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, constitute war crimes. “All countries should understand that any act of cooperation and assistance carried out while the United States commits its crimes must be held accountable and must be recognized as war crimes and crimes against humanity.” (Jin Ten)
