🏆 Projects Under the Spotlight (April 2026)
Some projects have seen a surge in trading volume because they are considered leaders in quantum resistance:
Algorand (ALGO): Became a favorite after being explicitly mentioned in Google’s research as a real-world example of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) using FALCON ( lattice-based signatures). The price of ALGO briefly surged by up to 30% at the start of this month.
Bitcoin (BIP-360): The Bitcoin community has just integrated BIP-360 (Pay-to-Merkle-Root) into the official repository in February 2026. This introduces a new address type (bc1z), which is claimed to be quantum-resistant.
QRL (Quantum Resistant Ledger): This specialized project is once again being looked at as the gold standard for pure security in the post-quantum era.
