**Crypto Industry RI Records Tax Revenue of Up to Rp1.9 Trillion**
The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance reports that crypto tax revenue collected until the end of February 2026 has reached Rp1.9 trillion.
This shows an increase compared to January of the previous month. Additionally, digital asset trading activities, whether by individuals or exchanges, have been integrated into the national taxation system.
Overall, tax revenue from the digital economy sector has reached Rp48.1 trillion as of February 28, 2026. However, the largest portion comes from Value Added Tax (PPN) on Electronic System Trading (PMSE), amounting to Rp37.4 trillion.
Director of Education, Service, and Public Relations at DJP, Inge Diana Rismawanti, stated that digital tax revenue realization is becoming stronger.
"The realization of digital tax revenue of Rp 48.11 trillion indicates that the contribution of the digital economy to state revenue is increasing," she said, citing various sources.
Furthermore, the government will continue to strengthen supervision, expand the tax base, and improve compliance among digital business actors through regulatory optimization and the utilization of information technology.
