I just noticed something interesting on the blockchain. SpaceX has started moving Bitcoin again — this time transferring nearly 1215 BTC, or about $133 million, to new wallets. This is the second such large transfer in a few days. I wonder what’s going on there.
According to Arkham Intelligence, Elon Musk’s company split the transfer into two parts — 300 BTC here, over 900 BTC there. The wallets that received the funds are not yet marked as belonging to SpaceX, which adds an element of mystery to the whole situation.
Importantly, SpaceX now holds around 8,285 BTC, placing them in fourth place among private holders of this cryptocurrency. A year ago, they were much more active — they owned even 25,000 BTC, but that number has dropped dramatically. Nothing happened for nearly three years, and now suddenly there’s movement again.
No one knows whether it’s a sale, reorganization, or just an internal portfolio restructuring. SpaceX has not issued any statement. But the fact that major entities like SpaceX are starting to move Elon Musk’s cryptocurrency always attracts investor attention. We’ll see what happens next.
