I just took a closer look at the VET forecast for 2030, and honestly, I find VeChain's development quite interesting. The project has been running for over ten years, and while many other cryptocurrencies are just hot air, VeChain has real use cases in practice.
What impresses me: Walmart China uses VeChain's blockchain for supply chain tracking, and BMW does the same for their supply chain management. These are not small players. These companies need fast and affordable solutions, and that's exactly what VeChain offers with its Proof-of-Authority mechanism. Transaction fees are low, speed is high, and energy consumption is minimal. This appeals to large corporations seeking efficient blockchain tools without dealing with Ethereum's complexity.
The dual token system with VET and VeThor is also cleverly designed. VET stores value, VTHO covers transaction costs. This makes the fee structure predictable and manageable for companies. And the new VeBetterDAO, together with Boston Consulting Group, aims to establish sustainability applications on the blockchain. This fits perfectly with the trend of corporations wanting to reduce their carbon footprint.
Of course, there is also the regulatory side. The SEC approved Bitcoin and Ethereum as spot ETFs in 2024, and the new SEC chief Paul Atkins has a more pro-crypto stance. This could open the door for a VET ETF and attract institutional investors. If that happens, demand for VET could increase significantly.
Regarding the VET forecast for 2030: Telegaon analysts project a price of $7.76 by 2030, representing an increase of over 32,000 percent. Other forecasts are somewhat more conservative, but the potential is definitely there if Bitcoin reaches the million-dollar mark as predicted and triggers a broad market rally.
But caution: crypto markets are extremely volatile. The current price of VET is $0.01, which is a significant drop from previous levels. There will definitely be crashes along the way, and forecasts should be viewed with healthy skepticism. Still, I believe VeChain, with its real-world use cases in supply chain management, food safety, and luxury goods authentication, has a strong long-term position. The VET forecast for 2030 could very well be realistic if the fundamental factors align.
