Choosing a prep school for real estate licensing can be quite confusing. I’ve tried a few recently, and it’s clear that the courses vary greatly. If you prioritize ease of understanding, starting with LEC or U-CAN might be a good idea. LEC explains concepts in a simplified way that even beginners can easily grasp. However, it costs over 140,000 yen, which is quite expensive. On the other hand, U-CAN offers abundant colorful illustrations, making it suitable for people who struggle with text. But it may lack comprehensive coverage. If you want to keep costs down, Clarear, Foresight, or Studying are good options. Especially Studying, which is super affordable at just in the 20,000-yen range. It’s all done via smartphone, making it perfect for busy professionals. Just note that their textbooks are somewhat stiff, and questions require a paid ticket system. For those who want to thoroughly cover the necessary exam material, I recommend Nikkagaku or O-Hara. They are highly specialized and seem to be perfect for exam preparation. But they might feel difficult for beginners. Ultimately, you have to decide based on your learning style and budget. Since the choice of prep school can also influence your pass rate, it’s best to compare and consider carefully without rushing.
