Hey, if you have a car in Edomex and haven't completed the verification, it's better to hurry because fines are no joke. Right now it's April and the deadline for the yellow sticker was February 28th, so if you didn't do it on time, you'll have to pay a fine plus the cost of the verification. Not to mention other outstanding debts you might have. The fine for not verifying on time can reach 3,394 pesos, and that's just the beginning. If it's not your turn yet because you have a different color sticker, organize yourself in advance. For example, those with pink stickers and plates 7 and 8 had until March 31st... oh, wait, that deadline has also passed. Basically, check which sticker and plates you have to know your period. The verification costs vary depending on the hologram assigned: if it's hologram 00, it's around 1,196 pesos; if it's hologram 0, about 610 pesos; and if it's 1 or 2, it costs 469 pesos. Exempt and disabled persons do not pay. Verification centers are open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The important thing is to make an appointment in advance to save time. Bring your vehicle registration, proof of the last verification, and if it's overdue, the receipt of the fine. Don't be caught off guard by the cost or the late fee—it's better to complete the process as soon as possible.
