The North Carolina Utilities Commission has scheduled a public hearing for March 30, 2026, in Raleigh, to address Duke Energy Progress’s request to increase electric rates and implement performance-based regulation. Duke Energy Progress seeks hundreds of millions in additional revenue over two years through its proposed multi-year rate plan. Members of the public can attend the in-person hearing or a remote session on April 1 to provide testimony.
